Electric Gauge Senders

Electric Gauge, Swichgauge and Senders

The EG21 series Electric Gauge and the EGS21 series Swichgauge take the electric gauge to new heights with proven technology and reliability.

Utilising our EG Air Core movement design, the EG(S)21 series offers technological improvements in overall operation, lighting, accuracy in reading, wiring and installation. The EG(S)21 gives you assurance of highest reliability and service.

These rugged gauges are environmentally sealed and exceed the rigid SAE J1810 standard for reliable operation under tough off-road and power unit environments. Corrosion-resistant materials are used throughout, making the gauges highly effective in marine and other environmentally sensitive applications. Soft, non-glare dial and pointer illumination is provided by a “cold light” LED; when powered the white lettering and clear pointer become soft red. A mirror band on the indicating scale eliminates parallax reading error when the pointer and its reflection are aligned.

Features:

  • Monitors oil, fuel and water filters
  • Combination indicating gauge and user-set limit switch
  • Actuates alarm, shutdown or backwash when filter becomes clogged
  • Signals coolant loss or aeration on engine water pump

20/25VWC, A25VWC Air Filter Restriction Swichgauge

20/25VWC, A25VWC Air Filter Restriction Swichgauge

The VWC Series Swichgauge® instruments are direct reading gauges for use with dry air filters. As the filter deteriorates, air inflow will decrease creating increased vacuum between the air filter and the carburettor. The vacuum is monitored by the Swichgauge®, which gives a visual readout of the filter condition. A built-in adjustable limit contact can operate an alarm to alert the operator when it is time to service or replace the air filter element. Murphygauge® indicating-only models are also available.

Features:

  • 2 in. (51 mm) and 2½ in. (64 mm) dia. water column swichgauge® for detecting restricted dry air filters.
  • Indicating gauge and limit switch in one.
  • Use the switch to activate alarms and/or to shut down equipment
  • Dependable and accurate
  • Dual scale reading
  • Dash mounting for easy viewing
